Fit model: hard spheres

Parameters:

parameter

description

F_scal

scaling parameter (should be between 0.1 and 10 - see here)

F_rad

hard sphere radius

F_sigma

polydispersity index [0,1]

S_phi

volume fraction

Remarks:

polydisperse sphere scattering function with Schulz size distribution: analytical expression

for calculations using a structure factor:

the interparticle interaction of the polydisperse system can be described by an effective structure factor using the decoupling approximation, which has an analytical expression in the case of a Schulz size distribution (for low and intermediate volume fractions)
